SouthBrooklynCarl asked:

I know that Hispanics in Texas in general are often refered to as “Mexicans” regardless of their country’s origin but I noticed when I lived in Houston its a lot more flags than just Mexico that are there. I noticed alot from El Salvador, Nicaragua, Columbia, Venezuela, Honduras, Guatamela, Ecuador, and other such countries especially in the West, East, and Southwest part of Houston? So What Im asking is what percentage of Hispanics are of Mexican origin and then what percentage are of another origin in order of largest to smallest group in Houston, Texas?

Since many if not most are illegal there is no way to determine their percentages, but the majority or Mexicans.
As you have noticed there are many other countries represented in the population, but they are not the majority and only a small percentage.

i agree with the first person. many of them are illegals so they are not in the stats. Maybe IRS will know, because many of them still pay tax. lol.
