I’m trying to rent our Orlando timeshare for the holidays because we can’t go. I was wondering which states Florida’s snowbirds primarily come from. Or otherwise “To who is Florida winter vacations popular with?” Any and all tips would be greatly appreciated. (and if you happen to be interested in renting. let me know that too) Thanks!

people who live in cold wintery states seem to head south, hence the term snowbirds.

I’ve heard that Ontario, Canada sends more Florida travellers than any other state or province (though maybe that’s because I’m in Ontario). Also there are supposedly more New Yorkers in Florida than any other state.

Here in Pompano Beach, most snowbirds come from the northeast, especially NY, Quebec, New England & the Chicago area.

French Canadians from Quebec, and (mostly English speaking) people from Ontario, Canada. If you want to advertise in newspapers, try The Montreal Gazette, The Toronto Star, or The Globe and Mail. Good luck!
